Heart Coffee Roasters, based out of Portland, OR have maintained a reputation for roasting some of the cleanest coffees out there in terms of flavour clarity.
We unapologetically only serve light to medium roasts here as we sincerely believe the true cup characteristics, clarity and terroir/varietals of coffee’s origin are otherwise lost.
Coffee is beautiful all on its own, and can be enjoyed immensely without sugar, milk, etc…and this coffee is a great way to discover just that.

Tomorrow is Rachael’s last day at Slow and Steady, and while we’re sad to see her go, we’re beyond grateful for everything she’s brought to our team. As our Lead Barista, Rachael set the bar high with her incredible work ethic, advanced barista skills, and dedication to quality in every cup. She’s also the mastermind behind our Salted Pumpkin Spice Latte (aka: SPSL), a seasonal customer favorite!
Come help us say goodbye and have her sling your coffee one last time!

Came in with 2 friends, service was quick and friendly! We love the atmosphere and the seating options (they have a patio). They have a healthcare discount which was super nice 😊
Two of us got a brown sugar latte with oat milk (iced) and my other friend got a lavender latte with oat milk (iced). I personally don’t like minor figures oat milk, it gives a weird taste so I opted for califia instead and my other friends got the minor figures to compare. We said califia reduced the bitterness in the coffee and made it smooth while minor figures downgraded the flavor. Overall, the coffee was a 4/10. This is the second place I’ve been to where they use minor figures unfortunately for their oatmilk.
We’ll be back to try other things and for the vibe of the coffee place as it has nice seating to study and natural lighting ✨

Service- good
Seating- ooh man! It’s rough. Definitely not ideal for working and not really for meeting with friends either. It’s a shame- it’s a super cute spot with great lighting, a great aesthetic, but the way it’s set up it feels like they don’t want anyone to stay. Easily would have 5 stars from me if it had a more welcoming seating situation.
